Last week we received the Notification that the open source implementation of  fUML 1.1 was released – see the original announcement:

Version 1.1.0 of the Foundation UML (fUML) Open Source (Reference) Implementation is now available for download from http://fuml.modeldriven.org. This release conforms with the newly adopted version 1.1 of the Semantics of a Foundational Subset for Executable UML Models (fUML) standard. This includes migration to UML 2.4.1 and implementation of the new Real primitive type and associated primitive functions in the Foundational Model Library. For release notes, see http://portal.modeldriven.org/content/fuml-reference-implementation-v110-now-available-download.

This open source implementation of fUML was originally developed by Model Driven Solutions under contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation and is now freely available under the Academic Free License v3. It is not officially endorsed in any way by OMG but should be of interest to the OMG and wider UML community. The project is hosted at ModelDriven.org, the open source Model Driven Community.

We have an implementation of fUML for Enterprise Architect 10 with our AMUSE addin currently this based on fUML 1.0 – but we will try to update it soon.
