At the Enterprise Architect User Group in Stuttgart on October 6th, 2015, Antje Schuett from Biner Consulting will speak about “Enterprise Architect in the Automotive Industry”. Planning, starting and maintaining an architecture repository is complex and time consuming. As an architect you are faced with many problems to solve and decisions to make. BEASI is a software plugin for Enterprise Architect and based on two companies from the automotive industry, one manufacturer and one reseller of cars. For documentation and reuse purposes the customer needed to establish an architecture repository within a short timeframe. The customer’s high interaction with internal and external stakeholders implied the urge to apply international standards. Through joining ArchiMate, TOGAF, Enterprise Architect and BEASI the repository was set up to the demanded international standards.
