Since yesterday the Microsoft BUILD Conference 2013 has started in San Francisco and Microsoft presents new features about Windows 8 to users and developers. Windows 8.1 will bring some new features and APIs to improve things and bring some new:
- An Application is now able to run on a multi-screen environment
- More than 2 apps can be opened on the screen in a snapped mode without the limitation of a fixed width
- Tiles on the Start screen are now supported in more sizes
- The search functionality is improved
- Text to Speech is supported in Windows Store Apps
